Most of European SMEs work with China but give only superficial training to the employees that work daily with China.

Chinese culture is completely different from ours. Chinese people handle problems in a different way, their priorities and mental processes are not the same as a Western person. The big North American enterprises spend thousands of dollars in training courses (cross cultural exchange) to train their employers to work with different cultures. European enterprises place less emphasis in training, which causes big inefficiencies.

Highly educated employees waste their time “fighting” with Chinese factories, trying to solve misunderstandings and problems, changing supplier… Instead of understanding Chinese culture, behaving in a Chinese way and letting the relationship flow.
